About Me

Hi, I'm Hollie

I’m a registered Chartered Physiotherapist specialising in long‑term pain, fatigue, hypermobility and the conditions that sit alongside those – MCAS, POTS/autonomic dysfunction, neurodivergence.

My work is grounded in both clinical experience and lived experience, and over 15 years of teaching movement – from Shaw Method swimming to Clinical Pilates, Therapeutic Yoga and Aquatic Therapy.

I now work remotely across the UK, supporting people who need a calm & supportive approach to physiotherapy — one that adapts to their symptoms, energy and life.

“Hollie’s approach is really tailored to your own personal goals, and it really felt like she was always able to meet me where I was at that day.” – Becca

Why I Do This Work

I’ve lived with chronic pain and fatigue since my teens and was eventually diagnosed with hEDS and endometriosis. I know how confusing it is to be told “exercise is important,” – yet find that it often makes symptoms worse, causing overwhelm and anxiety.

Finding a gentle, validating Pilates teacher was the start of a new way of thinking about movement. It helped me rebuild confidence, understand my body, and move in ways that felt safe. Therapeutic movement became a way of life, a special interest and led me to clinical work as a Physiotherapist.

“My work blends Physiotherapy with therapeutic movement

– always gentle, collaborative & paced”

My Clinical Background

After qualifying as a Physiotherapist, I worked in NHS Musculoskeletal and Persistent Pain Teams, supporting people with complex symptoms and long‑term conditions. I now focus on offering support to people who require longer-term, more intensive and consistent support.

I’ve spent my career exploring mindful, therapeutic movement approaches — Pilates, yoga, swimming, strength training, and restorative practices — and integrating them into physiotherapy in a way that is gentle, paced and collaborative.

How I Work

My approach is calm, steady and highly adaptable. I don’t push, rush or prescribe rigid programmes. Instead, we explore movement together, adjusting based on your symptoms, energy and feedback.

Clients often come to me after difficult experiences with exercise or healthcare. Some have a history of trauma, strong sensations around exertion, or fear of making things worse. I create a space where you can move without pressure, experiment safely, and build confidence over time.

If you’re looking for high‑intensity, “spin‑class energy” physio – that’s not me. If you want gentle, thoughtful, feedback‑rich support – you’re in the right place.

My Guiding Principles

Gentleness

movement should feel safe, not stressful.

Collaboration

you’re the expert in your body; we work together.

Pacing

progress happens when we respect energy and symptoms.

Adaptability

every movement is an experiment, not a test.
